The choice of a career requires an assessment of the personal aptitudes and skills as well as the correct appreciation of the experience and the interest in a certain domain of activity. Going to job interviews can also help you figure out what kind of qualifications and expectations are desired on your part. This will surely give you a real touch of the work environment and field of expertise required. It will also help you shape your career goals supposing that you will get the job you have been interviewed for.

Once you get the job, it is important that you become realistic and review your career goals as you advance or gain experience at your work place. As you get higher within the company hierarchy or as you promote in terms of more responsibilities, goals should also be reflected by the changes.
